Holiday Updates 2024
Decorating the Entrance
We are seeking volunteers to help decorate the Wyndham entrance with wreaths and garland on Sunday, December 1st at 3:00. With a handful of volunteers, this only takes an hour. Kristen Holt (social chair) will need some help carting the garland, strands and wreathes up from the shed to the main entrance of the neighborhood. If you are able to help, please meet at the shed at 3:00pm.
Luminaries
Continuing the Wyndham tradition, we will be setting up luminaries this year. Luminaries will light our neighborhood on the evening of Saturday, December 21. We would love help for that as well. If your family is interested in helping, please plan to meet at the shed on December 21st at 9:30 am. Donuts and hot chocolate will be provided!
Help is also needed to collect the luminaries the next day, Sunday, December 22. All neighbors are asked to gather their empty milk cartons by their mailbox on Sunday morning. Volunteers will then be around throughout the day to collect and bring down the cartons to the shed. Many hands make light work! Stay tuned for email reminders as it gets closer!
Holiday Celebration
While we won't be able to have our traditional Adult Holiday Party, we are still going to have a family-friendly and Covid-safe event on Saturday, Dec. 21st. Instead of the usual Horse Drawn sleigh, we will have a Trackless Train Ride on the sleigh route used in previous years. Details coming soon!
